H&M Swim Under $30

While I’d love to endorse $148 GANT hippo swim trunks (because I love them), a lot of guys don’t have the gumption or cash to swing them. Thus for cheap, appropriately cool swimwear, H&M is a good bet. My only concern with H&M’s selection isn’t the price, it’s the length.

But as inseams continue to shorten, it would seem that me and my chicken legs will be doing squats for the next two months.

What say you, gentleman? How short is too short?

Top left: Swim shorts $13; Nylon swim shorts $18 Bottom left: Patterned swim shorts $18; Block strip swim shorts $25

Considering that I own a pair of jammer styled diesels and a speedo styled designer I’d say that all of these are fine on length and that men need to realize there’s nothing wrong with showing off their physique. The rest of the worlds’ men realized this a long time ago. We’re the only beach baring country that’s still too insecure about the skin we’re in (maybe that’s because we’re pasty, hairy and unexotic). Whatever the case we Americans need to embrace our inner paste, bronze it up a bit and present our bodies beach style with a little more skin.

    • As a pasty, hairy, unexotic American, there’s little chance of me successfully looking good in these trunks. I’ll leave them to the professionals like you, sir.
